The management consulting company candidus was founded in 2003 by Stefan Treiber and Michael Schunda in Munich. Both experienced consultants, aimed at offering first class business consulting with focus on the implementation of the defined targets. “A measure is not worth the paper it`s written on, if it is not implemented. But the consistent implementation of changes often lacks in everyday life. We accompany the process up to the successful implementation.” Stefan Treiber said. At the beginning, candidus was exclusively positioned as a consulting company for medium size businesses – by the years even large-scale companies were added the customer base.
The consulting focus and the main core competences of candidus are operations management issues such as supply chain mangement, purchasing, manufacturing, sales, cash management and affiliated issues like sustainable reorganization and process & IT management. The industry focus is on automobile and supplier industry as well as plant and mechanical engineering, chemistry, consumer goods, transport and logistics. It is a distinctiveness that candidus likewise combines consulting and industry know-how and offers management consulting and system integration from one source. Our clients consider this as a real benefit.
The members of the individual candidus competence teams command a longtime work experience in leading management consulting companies as well as in their supervised fields or industries, on a national and international level.
Machine builders and engineers are represented just as business economists and IT specialists. Candidus acts internationally with headquarters in Munich, a further candidus office in Bucharest and cooperation partners in Sweden and Finland.
Annually candidus initializes the company ECG™, a fitness check for companies, in which companies from the above mentioned focus-industries can take part. The questionnaire can be ordered via mittelstands-ekg@candidus.com. Results are prepared as a study and presented to a selected audience during events such as the candidus SMB forum. Moreover the consultants regularly conduct studies concerning several candidus core issues – mostly in cooperation with an academic cooperation partner, the "University Ingolstadt-Eichstätt". In addition to that candidus experts regularly give speeches and publish professional articles in trade press.
